FAQ’s
Is sinus surgery painful?
FESS is performed through the nostrils using an endoscope, with no external cuts. Most patients experience mild discomfort and recover within one to two weeks.
Do tonsils need to be removed in all cases of tonsillitis?
No. Most cases are treated with medicines. Tonsillectomy is considered for frequent, recurrent infections, very large tonsils causing breathing or swallowing problems, or other complications.
Is snoring a serious problem?
Occasional snoring is common, but loud, regular snoring with pauses in breathing may indicate sleep apnoea, which can affect your health and should be evaluated.
Can hearing loss be treated?
Many types of hearing loss can be treated with medicines, surgery, or hearing aids. Early evaluation helps identify the cause and the best treatment.
Should I clean my ears with cotton buds?
It is best to avoid cotton buds, as they can push wax deeper and injure the ear canal. If you have wax blockage, an ENT specialist can safely remove it.
