What should I bring when coming to the emergency department?
If possible, bring identification, details of any medical conditions, current medicines, allergies, and insurance documents. However, never delay coming to the hospital to collect documents. Treatment begins immediately.
Can I help an accident victim without legal trouble?
Yes. Good Samaritans are legally protected and will not be harassed or held liable for helping accident victims.
Do minor injuries need emergency care?
Minor cuts and bruises can often be treated at home or in the OPD. However, deep wounds, suspected fractures, head injuries, or any injury with worrying symptoms should be evaluated in the emergency department.
